Biography

Heather Faulkner is a documentary photographer and immersive-storyteller whose work focuses on the synergistic themes of identity, place and belonging. In her twenty-year professional practice as a mainstream photojournalist, she has worked concurrently on addressing the histories and realities of marginalised queer communities around the world via documentary photography.

Faulkner is a senior lecturer and Program Director of the Bachelor of Photography at QCA, Griffith University. Find out more about her academic research here.
